The next day when I sat down to continue writing I added all the details to the Guardians. Seems like I did well. ;)

The "strong, silent type" always has layers. Their like an onion or a cake. :pKai Delmashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14913623803715499069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5555136190302766593.post-81601872850147354642015-05-19T09:55:53.204+02:002015-05-19T09:55:53.204+02:00This is another good entry. The "Small John&q...This is another good entry. The "Small John"/"John"-name-things, well, I saw that coming a mile away, and I feel like it's a bit of a tired trope, but it's a decent enough way to make a bad first impression that can later be rectified.

The Guardians, however, are interesting, especially because they seem to be fairly diverse. You did a good job of showing their differences, and I'm intrigued to see how the soldiers are trained. As the Guardians make up the meat of this chapter for me, I like it a lot.

I'm not sure I'm in love with your choice of sticking John with the "strong, silent type", because that's been done so often. Obviously, all of the Guardians are a bit of an archetype at first glance, but I feel like Morrison might have been the least interesting choice. I hope I'm wrong.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11749647252820873758noreply@blogger.com
